Create a Folder

• To create a Folder, click the plus icon and press new Folder (iPad and Mac). On iOS, press the ellipsis button at the top of the Space to reveal these options.

  

Pinning Tabs to Folder

Emerald for iOS

• To Pin Tabs to Folders, click the gear icon or press the tab, select “Pin…” and select the Folder in the Space you want to Pin it.

  

Emerald for Mac

• Just drag the tab to the Folder you want to pin it to.

  

Create a Private Folder

• Private Folders allow you to lock your folders with a Password. Pinning and Renaming work in the same way. To create a Private Folder, click the plus icon (or three dots on iPhone) and hover at “New Folder…” and then press on Private Folder. When you select it, this sheet will appear:

  

  • Here, you need to add the details, like the name of the Folder and the Password. Private Folders will be identified with a lock button near the delete button. Folder Options, such as renaming or deleting, won’t be available if they aren’t unlocked.

Recover Private Folder Passwords

• Did you forget about the password? Emerald has got you covered! To recover and change Passwords, go to Settings > Passwords. You’ll need authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID or your Passcode. After you authenticate, you can change Names and Passwords of Private Folders on the Private Folders section.
